Each performance features a study guide that can help prepare students before they board the bus as well as help them retain knowledge back in the classroom. Behind the Scenes Tours are also available throughout the year.

Theatre also helps to level the playing field for disadvantaged students from low social economic backgrounds. Travers and the classic Walt Disney film, Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's Mary Poppins delighted Broadway audiences for over 2,500 performances and received nominations for nine Olivier and seven TONY Awards, including Best Musical. The jack-of-all trades, Bert, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family how to value each other again. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren't the only ones she has a profound effect upon. Seats to School Matinees are sold by reservation only and orders are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating is assigned by the Fine Arts Center staff. Please note any special needs on when you reserve.
Assistive Listening devices and wheelchair seating can be made available with a minimum one week notice. Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the House Manager.
